Inspiration Award

I wasn’t sure if there was a protocol for this sort of thing, but I have so enjoyed blogging and getting to know other bloggers through their recipes and pictures, that I felt inspired to start an award. There are so many blogs that I can just sit down and loose myself in. Recipe after recipe, story after story, picture after picture…they either make me really hungry or totally inspired to try it myself! That is the idea behind my award. It is based on Inspiration. What inspires you when you cook, when you dream, when you go about your everyday life?

The Inspiration Award

This is given to bloggers whose stories and recipes inspire us. Whether it’s to eat healthier, dive back into our past to conjure up something we ate as children, or just make the light bulbs in our brains go on with a new idea for a recipe.

To start things off, I would like say that I am inspired by:

1. An empty dishwasher/kitchen sink and a full pantry full of ingredients.
2. The beautiful sunsets that we are blessed with every night here on the Gulf Coast of Florida.
3. My mom who cooked for us every night when we were growing up; when it comes to her cooking, I have some big shoes to fill.
4. My husband who, no matter what I make, always tells me it’s the best he has ever had.
